Wilco<\/a>\u00a0have\u00a0announced a UK and European headline tour for this summer \u2013 check out\u00a0all of\u00a0the dates and ticket information below.<\/p>\n

The Chicago indie veterans\u2019 last studio album was 2023\u2019s \u2018Cousin<\/a>\u2019, their 13th\u00a0LP, which was then followed by the \u2018Hot Sun Cool Shroud\u2019 EP the following year, and now fans can look forward to the band returning to Europe in August.<\/p>\n

They will kick off their run\u00a0at Oslo\u2019s\u00a0\u00d8ya\u00a0Festival on August 13<\/a>, which will be followed by further festival appearances in Copenhagen and Gothenburg. From there, they will play headline shows in Nijmegen and Amsterdam, before arriving at London\u2019s Hammersmith Apollo on August 20.<\/p>\n

They then play Glasgow\u2019s Royal Concert Hall on August 22, before dates in Antwerp, Paris, Rome, Mantova and Sibenik. Tickets for all of the shows are on sale now and you can find yours here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last year, Wilco\u00a0frontman\u00a0Jeff\u00a0Tweedy<\/a> announced a new\u00a0triple solo album, \u2018Twilight Override\u2019<\/a>. It arrived in September, marked his fifth record as a solo artist, and contained 30 tracks that he recorded and produced himself at his Chicago studio The Loft.<\/p>\n

He went on to join\u00a0Hayley Williams<\/a>,\u00a0Waxahatchee<\/a>,\u00a0Weyes Blood<\/a>,\u00a0Rufus Wainwright<\/a>,\u00a0Maren Morris<\/a>\u00a0and more as special guests last year when\u00a0Bleachers performed at Newport Folk Festival 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month,\u00a0Tweedy shared an emotive cover of Cameron Winter\u2019s \u2018Love Takes Miles\u2019 for Valentine\u2019s Day<\/a>, dedicated to his wife Susan.<\/p>\n

In 2024, the Wilco frontman<\/a> opened up about his relationship with music criticism and revealed, \u201cI tried to be a rock critic but I couldn\u2019t do it\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried my hand at writing for fanzines in St. Louis but was too lazy to do it correctly or with any success,\u201d he said. \u201cI did a bunch of interviews with different people that came through town:\u00a0Rain Parade<\/a>, Stiv Bators, Long Riders,\u00a0Soul Asylum<\/a>. Basically, I tried to get free tickets to shows, and there was a fanzine that would give me free tickets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only completed maybe one or two of those assignments, but I did get to hang out with those musicians.
