The snuggle \u2014 er, struggle is real for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.<\/p>\n

A source says the former Duke of York, 66, is not coping well without his beloved teddy bears, which are currently sitting in storage after he was kicked out of Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew is in a terrible state emotionally,\u201d the source says of the royal, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing but was recently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office \u201cThe smallest things are catastrophic and he\u2019s fixated on the fact that most of his teddy bears are now locked away in storage rather than with him at his new place.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Examiner previously reported<\/a>, Andrew\u2019s love of plushies was revealed in royal expert Tom Quinn\u2019s 2025 book, Yes, Ma\u2019am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has a collection of teddy bears, which he insists are placed every day in a certain position \u2026 a pyramid shape,\u201d the author told Fox News Digital<\/a>. \u201cAnd he gets very cross if it\u2019s not done properly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew only only took a couple when he moved,\u201d says the source, adding that the rest were left behind under arrangements overseen by\u00a0King Charles III,\u00a0\u201cwhich really underlines how little control he has over his own life these days.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the real issue, notes Examiner\u2019s source.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s zeroed in on the bears, which of course is only making people roll their eyes,\u201d the source says. \u201cCharles has much bigger things to be focused on. He\u2019s not going to indulge Andrew in something so childish.\u201d<\/p>\n

If it were up to the 77-year-old monarch, \u201cthose bears would be in the bin,\u201d reveals the source. \u201cHe finds it absolutely mortifying that his brother even has a teddy bear collection at his age.\u201d<\/p>\n
