In a preview clip of 1000-Lb Sisters shared with TMZ<\/a> on Friday, February 27, then-fianc\u00e9 Brian Lovvorn (whom she wed on Halloween of last year) told cameras, \u201cShe\u2019ll be getting surgery on both eyes today.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d say my biggest worry is the anesthesia because, I mean, there\u2019s always a chance you don\u2019t come out of it I guess,\u201d Brian, 52, continued. \u201cSo, I mean, I\u2019m hoping for the best but it is tough to just have to sit and wait.\u201d<\/p>\n Slaton revealed in a 2015 YouTube video<\/a> that she was diagnosed with ocular toxoplasmosis, which is described by the American Academy of Ophthalmology<\/a> as \u201can infec\u00adtion of the retina and choroid caused by the intracellular parasite.\u201d<\/p>\n She can be seen in the preview clip<\/a> going under the knife as doctors told viewers what was happening during the procedure.<\/p>\n amy_lovvorn2025\/TikTok<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re going to make an incision in the skin of the eye, up on the left side, and we\u2019ll loosen the outside muscle,\u201d Dr. Sean Donahue MD explained in the clip.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll then rotate the eye<\/a> into the position we want it to be,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd then we\u2019ll go over to the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n Dr. Donahue said the right eye needed correction due to its \u201cover elevation,\u201d adding: \u201cWe\u2019re going to correct the muscle that\u2019s causing those eyes to drift out when she looks up and have less outward drift when she looks down.\u201d<\/p>\n Slaton previously posted a TikTok<\/a> that appeared to show off the results of her eye surgery in July 2025, prior to its upcoming airing, though she has a filter on her face.<\/p>\n On Instagram<\/a>, Slaton shared a new image of herself on Friday, promoting a signing event.<\/p>\n \u201cI cried when you were told your eye can be fixed..beyond happy for you\u2026you look beautiful! \ud83d\udda4\ud83e\udd17,\u201d a fan wrote in the comments section.<\/p>\n The full 1000-Lb Sisters episode<\/a> airs March 3 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.<\/p>\n![\"amy_lovvorn2025\/TikTok\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/528e8fe81426237c8885a961200d5c39.jpeg\"\/)
