What\u2019s known is that the film will tell an all-new story set in The Exorcist universe and is not a sequel to 2023\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-exorcist-believer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Exorcist: Believer<\/a>. As previously announced, the cast also includes Scarlett Johansson, Jacobi Jupe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn addition to writing and directing, Flanagan is producing via his Red Room Pictures banner, alongside David Robinson for Morgan Creek Entertainment and Jason Blum for <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/blumhouse-atomic-monster\/\" id=\"auto-tag_blumhouse-atomic-monster\" data-tag=\"blumhouse-atomic-monster\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Blumhouse-Atomic Monster<\/a>. Exec producers include Alexandra Magistro for Red Room Pictures and Ryan Turek for Blumhouse-Atomic Monster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCalle stars  opposite Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in Joe Carnahan\u2019s Netflix crime thriller The Rip, which spent three weeks at #1 on Netflix\u2019s global English-language film list after premiering in January and remains at #7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe actress made her feature film debut as Supergirl in Warner Bros.\u2019 The Flash, becoming the first Latina actress to portray the iconic superhero in a major studio film. She also appeared in Daniel Minahan\u2019s On Swift Horses, alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, and Diego Calva, and stars in Alessandra Lacorazza Samudio\u2019s In the Summers, which won both Grand Jury and Directing Awards at Sundance 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUp next, Calle will be seen starring alongside Colin Farrell in Season 2 of Apple\u2019s Sugar.
