Emily Blunt is one of the stars of Walk the Blue Fields.<\/p>\n

Filming for a new movie starring Andrew Scott and Emily Blunt will take place over two days in a town located in the heart of Wicklow.<\/p>\n

The feature-film titled Walk in the Blue Fields is being produced by Element Pictures and is based on a short story by author Clare Keegan. The screenplay is by playwright and director Conor McPherson, with Brooklyn’s John Crowley directing the drama. <\/p>\n

The film’s cast also includes Ciar\u00e1n Hinds and Tom Cullen and the story follows a woman on her wedding day being confronted with a heart-wrenching decision, as a love triangle from her past threatens to be revealed.<\/p>\n

Filming will be taking place over two days in Rathdrum, from 11am to 9pm on Wednesday, March 11, and from 10am to 8pm on Tuesday, March 24.<\/p>\n

They will be filming outside St Saviour\u2019s Church, some driving scenes on the bridge and along the road to the roundabout.<\/p>\n

They will not be closing any roads or diverting traffic, but they will be temporarily holding traffic for a short time to facilitate the filming.<\/p>\n

The garda\u00ed and a traffic management company will be assisting with the traffic control and will endeavour to minimise the impact on the day-to-day life of Rathdrum.<\/p>\n

To facilitate the filming they will need to park their equipment trucks in the Parnell Memorial Park on both of the filming days, with a result that parking will be severely restricted. They will not be filming on or near the square or main street.<\/p>\n

Rathdrum is a noted filming location, and key movies shot in or around Rathdrum include Michael Collins, A Love Divided, Durango and A Terrible Beauty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Emily Blunt is one of the stars of Walk the Blue Fields.
