The back-to-back deals come less than four months after the company closed an oversubscribed €40 million financing round in November 2025.

Toulouse-based Infinite Orbits is developing Endurance, a satellite life-extension spacecraft, and Orbit Guard, a small spacecraft used for close-range monitoring of geostationary satellites. In 2025, the company signed agreements with European satellite operator SES to use Endurance to extend the life of one of its satellites from 2027, and with the French Directorate General for Armament to provide Orbit Guard spacecraft to monitor threats to French military assets. According to the company, its current order book totals €150 million.

On 26 February, Infinite Orbits announced that it was purchasing the Luxembourg-based operations of LMO, a company that describes itself as a specialist in autonomous space systems. The acquisition is expected to allow the company to equip its Orbit Guard servicer with advanced space situational awareness software. It will also be used to enhance the rendezvous and proximity operations capabilities of its Endurance spacecraft.

“By integrating LMO’s expertise, we are reinforcing Orbit Guard’s technological backbone and taking another step toward building Europe’s surveillance capacities,” said Infinite Orbits CEO Adel Haddoud.

According to Infinite Orbits, the acquisition of LMO’s Luxembourg-based operations is expected to be fully finalized within 15 days of the initial announcement.

On 3 March, less than a week after the LMO announcement, the company revealed that it had agreed to purchase Lúnasa Space, a UK-based company specializing in technology for autonomous rendezvous and proximity operations. The purchase will further strengthen the rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking capabilities of its Endurance spacecraft. It will also integrate the Lúnasa Space assembly, integration, and testing facility to bolster its manufacturing capabilities.

In addition to the technology gained through the acquisitions, Infinite Orbits sees both purchases as part of its broader European expansion. This was one of the stated goals of its most recent funding round, which saw the company raise €40 million. When the financing was announced in November 2025, the company said the capital would support its European expansion, including new offices planned in Luxembourg, Spain, the UK, Germany, and Poland. The company now operates offices in Luxembourg, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

        Keep European Spaceflight Independent

Your donation will help European Spaceflight to continue digging into the stories others miss.
