As many households struggle to make ends meet, Grocify is taking the guesswork out of grocery shopping. <\/p>\n
The free mobile app has just launched on the Google Play Store<\/a>, helping consumers find the cheapest grocery deals in their area.<\/p>\n The brains behind the tool, Ethan Stander, said he was inspired by an idea from his girlfriend\u2019s mother to create a price comparison tool. <\/p>\n \u201cI would usually catch her comparing grocery prices from four or five retailers, and she just looked at me and asked, \u2018Can\u2019t you create something to do this?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n The app uses geolocation to find the nearest stores and compares the prices of stocked items.<\/p>\n The app accounts for fuel costs, helping you decide if a deal is really worth the drive. <\/p>\n To listen to Stander in conversation with Kfm 94.5\u2019s Carl Wastie<\/a>, use the audio player below:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As many households struggle to make ends meet, Grocify is taking the guesswork out of grocery shopping.
