\n\t\u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/a>\u201d is building out its Season 2 cast. <\/p>\n

\n\tVariety has learned that Lucy Boynton (\u201cA Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story,\u201d \u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d), Babou Ceesay (\u201cAlien: Earth,\u201d \u201cDamilola, Our Loved Boy\u201d), and Peter Mullan (\u201cOzark,\u201d \u201cI Swear\u201d) have joined the \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d prequel\u2019s upcoming second season. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe news comes just over a week since the Season 1 finale. \u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms\u201d was renewed for Season 2 back in November 2025<\/a> ahead of the series premiere. The second season will follow the story of the second Dunk & Egg book, \u201cThe Sworn Sword.\u201d Boynton will play Lady Rohanne, while Ceesay will play Ser Bennis. Mullan will play Ser Eustace Osgrey.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoynton is repped by United Agents, CAA, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Ceesay is repped by The Artists Partnership, Entertainment 360, and Granderson Des Rochers. Mullan is repped by Markham, Froggatt & Irwin. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms\u201d stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan \u201cDunk\u201d the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg. The show is set roughly 100 years before the events of the mothership show. It is based on George RR Martin\u2019s \u201cTales of Dunk and Egg\u201d novellas. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe show received strong critical acclaim upon its debut, with the first season holding a 94% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Both Claffey and Ansell earned praise for their performances, while \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d fans also took to the show\u2019s more intimate storylines, shorter episode runtimes, and its shorter, six-episode season. <\/p>\n

\n\tMartin co-created the series with Ira Parker, with both serving as executive producers. Parker is also the showrunner.
