\n\tUPDATED with latest: A little over a year after they released the first video of the high speed, highly-anticipated Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, Universal Studios Hollywood<\/a> gave members of the media an up-close look at the ride, its cars and its themed space. They also offered an up-close view of the attraction in action.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe biggest reveal was a demonstration of the cars in full \u201cdrift\u201d mode, whereby they frequently rotate 90 degrees in a turn or loop \u2013 they can rotate up to 360 degrees \u2013 imitating the titular \u201cdrift.\u201d Warning to the faint of heart: Hollywood Drift is touted to hit speeds up to 72 mph. \n\tPREVIOUSLY on February 25, 2025: Universal Studios Hollywood today offered a glimpse at the creation of the park\u2019s forthcoming first high-speed outdoor roller coaster, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe attraction, announced last year, is set for launch in 2026, but the park\u2019s minions have already made significant progress on the track which will guide the \u201cgroundbreaking 360-degree rotation of the individual ride vehicles as they rocket along.\u201d The goal is to create a sensation of drifting cars as guests spin in motion at furiously fast speeds.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe newly-released video shows construction of the ride\u2019s massive loop which will likely set the individual cars adrift.<\/p>\n

\n\tHOLLYWOOD DRIFT FIRST LOOK VIDEO:<\/p>\n

\n\tAs part of the reveal, Universal Studios Hollywood also announced that the last day to experience Fast & Furious \u2014 Supercharged, the franchise\u2019s current incarnataion at Universal Studios Hollywood, is March 10. Supercharged debuted in 2015 and has been the grand finale on the lot\u2019s Studios Tour. The closure of Supercharged \u201cwill pave the way for an exciting all-new Studio Tour attraction to be announced soon,\u201d according to park officials.<\/p>\n

\n\tFast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be located on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood.
