Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler tore into Arsenal, having been left furious at their time-wasting during their 1-0 win at the Amex<\/a>. Bukayo Saka<\/a> scored the goal that saw off the Seagulls on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n The victory leaves Mikel Arteta<\/a>‘s side seven points clear at the top of the table following Manchester City’s failure to beat Nottingham Forest<\/a>. And while there were celebrations in the Arsenal<\/a> dressing room, the same cannot be said of Brighton<\/a>.<\/p>\n Seagulls boss Hurzeler let rip during his post-match press conference, accusing Arsenal of not playing football due to the time that they wasted. Spanish goalkeeper David Raya<\/a> needed treatment on a host of occasions, while match-winner Saka was also dragged up by Joel Veltman having also gone down.<\/p>\n Speaking post-match, Hurzeler said: “There was only one team that tried to play football today. I made my point before the game.<\/p>\n “We shouldn’t concentrate on these things… let’s talk about us. The Premier League needs to look at rules. There were so many [periods of time wasting].”<\/p>\n And while the German wasn’t particularly pleased with the tactics employed by Arsenal on the South Coast, he suggested that the rule-makers were more at fault. However, he did take aim a subtle dig at Arteta by claiming he would not tell his players to time waste.<\/p>\n Hurzeler added: “If they win the Premier League, no one will ask how they want it.
