Seven dead Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/a> characters, all with ties to Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Thor<\/a> Odinson, will reportedly appear in Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No MCU<\/a> character has perhaps lost more loved ones than Thor, with the beloved God of Thunder losing the Warriors Three<\/a> and Odin<\/a> in Thor: Ragnarok, Heimdall<\/a> and Loki<\/a> in Avengers: Infinity War, and his former love interest Jane Foster<\/a>\/Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder.<\/p>\n

Which dead Thor characters will return in Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n

According to scooper MAJESTIC_ucm in a new post on X<\/a>, those seven dead characters will all return in Avengers: Doomsday in a scene where Thor, surrounded by Steve Rogers, Korg, and Valkyrie, prays for help.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen an army from Valhalla arrives, including Lady Thor, the Warriors Three, Heimdall, and the original Loki. Odin\u2019s voice is heard: \u2018Lead them into battle, my son,’\u201d claims the scooper. This tracks with what a different scooper, MyTimeToShineHello, reported on last month about Thor receiving an army from Valhalla<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At this time, it is unclear when in Doomsday this scene will take place. Reported plot details for Doomsday<\/a> have Thor and Steve on a side quest to find the Loki variant introduced in Avengers: Endgame, who went on to become the God of Stories, a.k.a. the overseer of the MCU Multiverse, by the end of Loki Season 2.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the two Avengers will reportedly arrive at the Time Variance Authority just after Doctor Doom has killed everyone there<\/a>, including the Loki variant. This may be when Thor calls upon Odin for his Valhalla army, although that\u2019s just pure speculation at this time.<\/p>\n

Plot details remain under wraps for Avengers: Doomsday, although the movie will see the Avengers, the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men working together to stop Robert Downey Jr.\u2019s Doctor Doom. It will take place 14 months after the main events of Thunderbolts*.<\/p>\n

Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay for Doomsday, with Joe and Anthony Russo returning as directors.
