The British broadcaster BBC announced last month that they internally selected<\/a> Look Mum No Computer to be their Eurovision 2026 representative.<\/p>\n

Just a few weeks later, and we now know what song he will be taking to the Eurovision stage in Vienna: it’s “Eins, Zwei, Drei<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

“Eins, Zwei, Drei<\/a>” was written by Look Mum No Computer (Sam Battle) himself together with Lisa Subotic, Thomas Stengaard, Lasse Midtsian Nymann (Nylan), and Julie Aagaard (Kill J).<\/p>\n

Since The United Kingdom is one of the Big 4 countries, Look Mum No Computer will be automatically qualified to and take the stage of the Grand Final<\/a> held on 16 May 2026.<\/p>\n

Look Mum No Computer is a multi-talented solo artist, experimental singer-songwriter, live electronics performer and composer based in Kent. He is also known as Sam Battle, frontman of indie rock band ZIBRA.<\/p>\n

Look Mum No Computer tells the BBC:<\/p>\n

\u2013 I find it completely bonkers to be jumping on this wonderful and wild journey. I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honor that I am taking very seriously. I\u2019ve been working a long-time creating, writing, and producing my own visions from scratch, and documenting my process.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I will be bringing every ounce of my creativity to my performances, and I can\u2019t wait for everyone to hear and see what we\u2019ve created. I hope Eurovision is ready to get synthesized!<\/p>\n

He first burst onto the scene in 2014 as Sam Battle with ZIBRA. The band performed at Glastonbury in 2015 for BBC Introducing.<\/p>\n

Since then, he has built a successful solo career focused on electronic and synth sounds. As Look Mum No Computer, he has played across the UK and Europe, released numerous singles, albums and EPs, and recently toured Germany.<\/p>\n

He launched his YouTube channel in 2016, and has since amassed over 85 million views and 1.4 million combined subscribers and followers across his social platforms. He is known for building and performing with unusual electronic instruments, including organs made from Furbies and Game Boys, synthesizer bicycles, flame-throwing keyboards and a Star Wars droid orchestra.<\/p>\n

His work in synthesizers and electronics has led to a TEDx Talk, his own video game, a Guinness World Record for building the world\u2019s largest drone synthesizer, and the opening of a museum dedicated to his creations.<\/p>\n

Look Mum No Computer was chosen following an extensive search led by UK Eurovision Project Director David May, alongside Andrew Cartmell, Executive Producer at BBC Studios North and Head of Delegation for the UK.<\/p>\n

Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, says:<\/p>\n

The United Kingdom has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 67 times since 1957<\/a>. The UK has only skipped the contest two times: 1956<\/a> and 1958<\/a>. They have won Eurovision five times:<\/p>\n
