{"id":333385,"date":"2026-03-07T07:04:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-07T07:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/333385\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T07:04:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T07:04:07","slug":"samsung-galaxy-watch-ultra-2-to-use-a-new-chipset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/333385\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to use a new chipset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/new_report_tells_us_when_the_samsung_galaxy_watch_ultra_2_is_coming-news-70570.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">launching later this year<\/a>, around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_watch_ultra-13127.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its predecessor<\/a>&#8216;s two-year anniversary, and today a tipster over on X claims that it will be using the newly unveiled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/snapdragon_wear_elite_arrives_with_ondevice_ai_capabilities_performance_and_battery_gains-news-71793.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Snapdragon Wear Elite SoC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"674\" alt=\"Snapdragon Wear Elite features\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1772867047_681_gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\nSnapdragon Wear Elite features<\/p>\n<p>The Galaxy Watch9, on the other hand, will allegedly stick with the Exynos W1000 used in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_watch8-13997.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy Watch8<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_watch7-13128.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Watch7<\/a>, even though it&#8217;s launching alongside the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.<\/p>\n<p>With this move, Samsung will differentiate the next Ultra even more from its non-Ultra watches, for better or worse.
