It may only be March, but Celine Dion<\/a> is already looking towards summer. The Canadian hitmaker sent fans wild with a series of swimsuit-clad photos she shared on Instagram, showing herself on a luxury yacht.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The post featured throwbacks from 2008 when Celine was at sea, soaking up the sunshine as she posed in a blue one-piece with the sun pouring down on her\u00a0<\/p>\n

Celine, 57, captioned the dreamy post: “Outfits I can\u2019t wait to wear again\u2026 Who else is excited for summer?” She added the year and location of the photos: “G\u00e9rard Schachmes (2008 – Cape Town),” she wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans commented: “Oh my,” remarking on her tanned and toned physique and lush surroundings. Others added love-heart emojis and called her “queen.”<\/p>\n

Tribute to late husband<\/p>\n

Celine recently returned to social media after a break, to pay tribute to her late husband, Ren\u00e9 Ang\u00e9lil<\/a>, who died in 2016 from throat cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Mon amour, ten years without you feels like just a day, and yet each day feels like a decade,” she wrote. “Ten years without your caress, and yet every day I feel your touch\u2026We miss you more than we can bear, but you taught us to be strong.”<\/p>\n

Heartbreaking diagnosis

Celine was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, making the last few years a rollercoaster for the star.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But she’s had the support of her family, including her three boys, and fans, who have praised her motivation to fight through her challenges.<\/p>\n

The “My Heart Will Go On Singer” made sure to give a shout-out to her boys at the New York City premiere of her documentary,\u00a0I Am: Celine Dion, in 2024, sweetly declaring, “I wouldn’t be here without the daily love and support from my wonderful children. Thank you, R\u00e9ne-Charles. Thank you, Nelson. Thank you, Eddy.”<\/p>\n

Over recent years, Celine has been forced to cancel numerous performances due to her diagnosis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The progressive neurological disorder manifests in symptoms<\/a> like stiffness of the limbs, heightened sensitivity, painful muscle spasms, and difficulty walking. The syndrome greatly affects C\u00e9line’s ability to sing, as it causes uncontrollable muscle spasms in the voice box.<\/p>\n

Celine’s return

But she delighted fans when she made her triumphant return<\/a> to the stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, where she sang Edith Piaf’s “Hymne A L’Amour”.<\/p>\n

She reflected on her diagnosis and stepping back from the limelight when she told Vogue: “It has been a big burden on my shoulders, and a lot of that weight\u2019s gone. Because now I can just focus on reality. That\u2019s wonderful.
