A lucky Dubliner scooped nearly \u20ac50,000 after matching five numbers and the bonus ball in Saturday’s Lotto<\/a> draw.<\/p>\n While there was no outright winner of last night’s \u20ac2,693,222 jackpot, the draw delivered a heart stopping twist<\/a> for one player who came agonisingly close to scooping the life-changing sum.<\/p>\n Missing out by just a single number, the player still scooped a consolation prize of \u20ac46,511 for correctly matching five of the six main numbers plus the bonus.<\/p>\n It has been confirmed that the punter purchased the Quick Pick ticket at Reilly’s Daybreak in Naul in north Dublin<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n The winning numbers in Saturday’s Lotto draw were: 14, 24, 33, 34, 37, 43, and the Bonus was 15.<\/p>\n Darragh O\u2019Dwyer, National Lottery<\/a> spokesperson said: “While over 73,000 players nationwide won prizes in Saturday\u2019s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, just one player in Dublin now has a ticket worth an incredible \u20ac46,511.<\/p>\n “We are urging all of our players, particularly those in the Naul area, to carefully check their tickets today. The Match 5 + Bonus winner should sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.<\/p>\n “They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie<\/a> and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Lotto chiefs have also revealed Wednesday’s jackpot is heading towards \u20ac3m.<\/p>\n
