\n\tThe 98th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O\u2019Brien, will feature two onstage musical performances spotlighting leading Original Song Oscar nominees<\/a> KPop Demon Hunters<\/a> and Sinners<\/a>, producers said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\n\tExecutive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced the lineup of talent, which will feature the singing voices behind Huntr\/x \u2014 Ejae<\/a>, Audrey Nuna<\/a> and Rei Ami<\/a> \u2014 performing hit \u201cGolden\u201d and Sinners star Miles Caton<\/a> and songwriter Raphael Saadiq\u2019s performance of the stirring \u201cI Lied to You.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the announcement, the KPop Demon Hunters moment will begin with a \u201cfusion of traditional Korean instrumentalists and dance, celebrating the folklore and cultural inspiration\u201d that anchors the story in Netflix\u2019s animated blockbuster.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, the Sinners performance will include a larger homage to the record-breaking Ryan Coogler film<\/a> and its singular visual style, as Caton and Saadiq will be joined by ballet dancer Misty Copeland; musicians Eric Gales, Shaboozey<\/a>, Brittany Howard, Christone \u201cKingfish\u201d Ingram, Bobby Rush and Alice Smith; and co-stars Buddy Guy, Jayme Lawson and Li Jun Li.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis year, our music performances are inspired by two of the most powerful cultural phenomena in film: Sinners, the most nominated film in Oscars<\/a> history, and KPop Demon Hunters, a global pop culture sensation,\u201d noted Kapoor and Mullan in a statement. \u201cThese show moments are more than just performances \u2014 they expand into cinematic tributes that celebrate the relationship between music and storytelling and why these films resonated so deeply with audiences around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditionally, the show will include appearances by\u00a0Josh Groban\u00a0and the\u00a0Los Angeles Master Chorale. Further talent will be announced by the producers in the lead-up to the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Oscars will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 15, beginning at 7 p.m. ET\/4 p.m. PT, with the official red carpet starting a half-hour earlier.
