The Lemon Twigs<\/a> are back with a new album called \u2018Look For Your Mind!\u2019. Check out the lead single below, along with details of a 2026 tour.<\/p>\n

The new record marks the sixth from the indie giants, and will be released on May 8 via Captured Tracks. It also sees live members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass) added to the line-up, as well as Eva Chambers of Tchotchke.<\/p>\n

Today (Wednesday March 11), the band have shared the first taster of the album in the form of \u2018I Just Can\u2019t Get Over Losing You\u2019.<\/p>\n

On the surface, the song captures a familiar feel for the group with its pop-infused exterior and emotive lyrics, although they take things up a notch by playing with the structure \u2013 introducing the bridge at an unexpected time, cutting the chorus in half, and seeing Brian D\u2019Addario and Eva deliver some intricate harmonies.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time we try to write something that\u2019s completely straightforward, we can\u2019t help adding an element which comes out of left field,\u201d Brian said of the single. \u201cWe always want to write a song we\u2019ve never heard before.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new album comes as the follow-up to 2023\u2019s \u2018Everything Harmony<\/a>\u2019 and 2024\u2019s \u2018A Dream Is All We Know\u2019<\/a>, and sees them \u201cincorporate new skills they have gathered over the past two years after being on tour\u201d.<\/p>\n

The record is set to capture a \u201cunique blend of paranoia and suspicion, alongside the pop-inspired melodies that first put the band on the map\u201d.<\/p>\n

As well as the new music, The Lemon Twigs have also shared details of a 2026 tour, which kicks off in the spring and includes a number of UK dates, as well as international shows.<\/p>\n

Last year, Brian D\u2019Addario shared an amorous new single \u2018Till The Morning\u2019,<\/a> which was the first taster of his debut solo album of the same name.<\/p>\n

Before then, The Lemon Twigs 2024\u2019s album \u2018A Dream Is All We Know\u2018 was given a four-star review from NME.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018A Dream Is All We Know\u2019, the siblings\u2019 mostly self-produced fifth studio album, sees them revel in Beach Boys<\/a> harmonies and off-kilter melodies (think the Beatles when they were starting to get weird).
