Prince William has sent a heartfelt message to Australia, days after his estranged brother Harry and wife Meghan announced they are heading Down Under.<\/p>\n
Appearing in a video posted to social media, the heir to the throne spoke out in support of the Australian Navy and the Royal Navy Submarine Service, which are both celebrating their 125th birthdays and also gave a special shout-out to AUKUS.<\/p>\n
The Sussexes announced over the weekend that they would be arriving in mid-April and visiting Sydney and Melbourne. They will be travelling as private citizens and focusing on businesses and philanthropic work during their stay.<\/p>\n

By continuing you agree to our Terms<\/a> and Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n Meghan has been announced as the \u201chighlight\u201d of a three-day Sydney retreat put on by Her Best Life, where tickets are selling for between $2699 per person up to $3199 for a \u201cVIP experience\u201d.<\/p>\n In turn, Prince Harry will be the keynote speaker at a workplace mental health summit in Melbourne, where tickets start at $1978 for an individual, up to more than $17,000 for a platinum table of eight booking.<\/p>\n Acting in his honorary position of the Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Navy Submarine Service, Prince William has also turned his attention to Australia.<\/p>\n In his video message, he noted the \u201cenduring relationship\u201d between Australia\u2019s and the UK\u2019s navies.<\/p>\n \u201cAs HMAS Anson (a UK nuclear-powered submarine) visits Australia, I would like to wish a very happy 125th birthday to both the Royal Navy Submarine Service and the Australian Navy,\u201d Prince William said.<\/p>\n \u201cToday we remember the generations of service personnel who served in support of the United Kingdom, Australia, and our Commonwealth partners in both World Wars and in the decade since.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd we thank those who continue their spirit of service today.
