\t\t\u2018Abundance Frequency\u2019 Trend Revives Anita Ward\u2019s 1971 Hot 100 No. 1 Classic\u00a0\t<\/p>\n

\n\tTimes are tough, and global war is only turning up the pressure. So, naturally, people are turning to TikTok for money guidance, and some of found solace in user @\/goddessinanna15<\/a> and her \u201cabundance frequency\u201d videos. In essence, \u201cRing My Bell,\u201d the 1979 Billboard Hot 100<\/a> chart-topper from Anita Ward<\/a>, apparently continues sonic frequencies that inspire financial abundance. In a Jan. 12 post<\/a>, TikTok user @\/goddessinanna15 claimed \u201cRing My Bell\u201d is a \u201cmatrix hack\u201d that will \u201cbring money and wealth\u201d because it correlates with the following phrases in numerology: \u201cI am wealthy,\u201d \u201cwin money,\u201d \u201cmanifest\u201d and \u201cJohnny Cash.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTo close out her clip, which has since amassed over a quarter-million views, the user also claimed that she won a $5 scratch-off prize while listening to Ward\u2019s signature hit. Later that week (Jan. 16<\/a> & 17<\/a>), she shared two more viral posts expanding on the \u201cabundance frequency\u201d-\u201cRing My Bell\u201d theory. Additionally, TikTok user @\/sinai_rose<\/a> launched a \u201cRing My Bell\u201d dance challenge on March 3, with a clip<\/a> that\u2019s already earned over 280,000 views.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, whether any of this is true is besides the point. What truly matters is that people have bought into the \u201cabundance frequency,\u201d which has helped revived \u201cRing My Bell\u201d on streaming. According to Luminate, \u201cRing\u201d earned over 671,000 official on-demand U.S. streams during the period of Feb. 20-26, selling an additional 300 U.S. digital downloads. By the following week (Feb. 27-March 5), \u201cRing\u201d jumped 277% to 2.53 million official streams, with its U.S. digital downloads total vaulting 1,001% to over 3,4000 copies. On TikTok, the official \u201cRing My Bell\u201d sound boasts over 5,000 videos, many of which are now tied to manifestations<\/a> of wealth<\/a> and prosperity<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tEven if \u201cRing My Bell\u201d does absolutely nothing for people\u2019s finances, at least it\u2019s finding a way into the hearts and playlists of a new generation of listeners.\u00a0 \u2014 KYLE DENIS<\/p>\n

\t\tA \u2018Go Away\u2019 Comeback for Weezer and Bethany Cosentino\t<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother week, another \u201990s alternative act striking TikTok gold with a many-albums-ago deep cut. This time, it\u2019s Weezer<\/a>\u2018s turn in the streaming spotlight, with the California vets\u2019 \u201cGo Away\u201d \u2014\u00a0a highlight from 2014\u2019s Everything Will Be Alright in the End album, featuring West Coast alt-rock fixture Bethan Cosentino of Best Coast \u2014\u00a0blowing up on TikTok over the past couple months, with users finding a variety of uses for the song\u2019s male\/female vocal interplay and lovelorn lyrics.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe TikTok interest in the song has translated to massive streaming gains over the past two months. Whereas at the beginning of 2026, for the tracking week ending Jan. 1, \u201cGo Away\u201d was only amassing 56,000 weekly official on-demand U.S. streams (according to Luminate), the song has skyrocketed to nearly 2.8 million streams for the week ending March 5, with its numbers still rising in the days since. The song has even entered Spotify\u2019s Daily Top Songs USA<\/a> chart, reaching a new peak of No. 153 on Tuesday (Mar. 10). <\/p>\n

\n\tBoth Weezer and Cosentino have since joined in the TikTok fun, with the latter getting 6.6 million views so far for a video<\/a> of her performing the song on a toy guitar with the caption \u201cwhen a song you cowrote and sang on 12 years ago goes viral and now you are someone\u2019s mom,\u201d and the former even posting<\/a> a new lyric video with the monster on the Alright album cover lip synching to the song. (\u201cEverything is still alright in the end,\u201d the caption concludes.) <\/p>\n

\t\tDance Trend Lifts SAILORR &\u00a0Eem\u00a0Triplin\u2019s \u2018Coconut\u2019\u00a0\t<\/p>\n

\n\tChoreographer, dancer, and TikTok user @\/jeanvictorm<\/a> has finally escaped the shadow of his viral \u201cNeeded Me\u201d dance with a new, particulalry satisfying combination set to SAILORR\u2019s \u201cCoconut,\u201d an Eem Triplin-assisted joint housed on her From Florida\u2019s Finest Delu\/XXX album.<\/p>\n

\n\tVictor shared the first look at his choreography via his official TikTok page in a Feb. 5 clip<\/a> that\u2019s since earned over 631,000 views and nearly 100,000 likes. He quickly caught onto the dance trend\u2019s budding virality with a follow-up clip on Feb. 11 (this time featuring himself and fellow TikTok dance star Orlando Lucas<\/a>), which soon gave way to a litany of tutroial clips that helped non-professionals nail every move. While the unofficial \u201cCoconut\u201d sound<\/a> boasts just under 6,500 clips, the official sound<\/a> plays in over 17,000.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the period of Jan. 23-29, \u201cCocount\u201d racked up 366,000 official on-demand U.S. streams. Roughly a month later (Feb. 27-March 5), that figure soared 216% to over 1.15 million official weekly streams. With her buzz continuing to build thanks to her writing contributions on Baby Keem\u2019s \u201cGood Flirts,\u201d SAILORR may just have unlocked a rising hit of her own. \u2014 KD<\/p>\n
