The St Patrick’s Day Late Late Show special is shaping up to be a classic<\/p>\n

A star-studded lineup of celebrities has been announced for this week\u2019s Late Late Show<\/a> St Patrick\u2019s Day special.<\/p>\n

As she prepares to head off to Australia with her wildly successful show Pinotphile, Joanne McNally<\/a> joins Patrick in the studio to chat about making history as the first Irish comedian to headline back to back 3Arena<\/a> shows.<\/p>\n

One of Ireland\u2019s greatest musicians, Glen Hansard<\/a>, will also be on the show this week. He will reflect on a remarkable career that began on the streets of Dublin and has taken him all the way to winning an Oscar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now back on the road again, Glen will treat the audience to a performance of one of his favourite Irish songs for the weekend that\u2019s in it, and he\u2019ll share why he believes Irish music remains one of Ireland\u2019s greatest exports.<\/p>\n

Hollywood actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers<\/a> will also be in the studio this week. He’ll open up about the loss of his home in the LA wildfires, and his recent move to a farm in Co Wexford<\/a>. He’ll chat about how he’s embracing rural life and share what\u2019s next on the horizon as he embarks on this new chapter.<\/p>\n

Tommy Tiernan<\/a> and Mick Flannery<\/a> will join the St Patrick\u2019s Day line-up this week. They\u2019ll chat about The House Must Win – the new musical drama written by Mick and starring Tommy – and share the story behind how the project came to life.<\/p>\n

The pair will reflect on their shared passion for music and storytelling and Mick might even treat viewers to a tune to give audiences a taste of what they can expect from the musical.<\/p>\n

Louise Cantillon, Doireann N\u00ed Ghlac\u00e1in and S\u00edomha N\u00ed Ruairc, hosts of the hit How to Gael podcast, will also drop in this Friday. They\u2019ll chat about how the podcast<\/a> has taken off, the revival of the Irish language and the joy they find in working together. From language, laughs and a lot of Gaeilgeoir pride, the trio promise plenty of fun in the studio.<\/p>\n

Cork<\/a> poet and writer Daragh Fleming performs a specially commissioned poem about St Patrick\u2019s Day past and present and Irish trad group Biird take to the Late Late stage to keep the party going with their signature sound.<\/p>\n
