Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has named his side set to take on Scotland in the last game of this year\u2019s Guinness Six Nations.<\/p>\n
Scotland\u2019s trip to Dublin is a Triple Crown decider, with both teams having already defeated England and Wales. Gregor Townsend\u2019s side will need a first win in Dublin since 2010.<\/p>\n
James Ryan has been ruled out from the squad due to a calf injury, but that is Ireland\u2019s only new injury concern leading into Saturday\u2019s game.<\/p>\n
Jamison Gibson-Park and Munster\u2019s Jack Crowley complete Ireland\u2019s half-back pairing, while Jamie Osbourne, Robert Baloucoune, and Tommy O\u2019Brien start in the back three.<\/p>\n
The front row contains Ulster\u2019s Tom O\u2019Toole and Leinster pair Tadhg Furlong and Dan Sheehan, while Joe McCarthy and Tadhg Beirne line out in the second row. Captain Caelan Doris, Jack Conan, and Josh van der Flier finish out the team in the back row.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the team announcement, Farrell said \u201cIt is an incredible privilege for the squad to play at home in front of a packed Aviva Stadium with a trophy up for grabs. We know about the challenge facing us on Saturday and Scotland will travel with confidence.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you factor in a loud home support, and with the game taking place on St Patrick\u2019s weekend, it really has all the ingredients for a cracking contest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ireland have beaten Saturday\u2019s opponents on the last ten occasions, with Saturday\u2019s visitors last having tasted victory against Ireland at Murrayfield in 2017.<\/p>\n
While both teams have an outside shot of winning the championship outright (dependent on an English win in Paris), a feisty affair between wo great sides is a guarantee with a triple crown on the line.<\/p>\n
