Tucked in the English Market is a new spot where the food<\/a> tastes as good as it looks. Uncles, a new rotisserie chicken sandwich spot opened today, just off Grand Parade.<\/p>\n

Owners Colin Ryan and Ciar\u00e1n O\u2019Reagan are no strangers to the Cork food scene. They own three other very popular businesses in the city<\/a>: Paper Boys on Tobin Street, Goodhood in St Luke\u2019s and Hansom at the Marina Market.<\/p>\n

The new Uncle’s stall is at the former O’Mahony’s Butchers unit, and the lads were serving sandwiches in the midst of the rain and wind, as people lined up to try the new lunch spot.<\/p>\n

Priding themselves on “fresh” sandwiches and using plenty of fresh produce from their neighbouring stalls in the market, Uncles is a spot you want on your weekly rotation.<\/p>\n

The sandwiches are made in front of you and are packed with flavour. We tried \u2018The OG\u2019, which had chicken, rocket, stuffing and garlic mayo all lashed into a buttery roll. It was as delicious as it looked.<\/p>\n
