Wanda Sykes urged Stephen Colbert to \u201cburn this bitch down\u201d on the final episode of \u201cThe Late Show,\u201d which is scheduled for May 21.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou got to go the hell off the last show,\u201d the actor and comedian told Colbert on Thursday. \u201cBurn this bitch down,\u201d she continued, drawing massive cheers from the audience.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou always bring the fire every night, but that last show has to be destruction,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Sykes noted Colbert\u2019s Catholic faith and suggested that, because \u201clove is stronger than hate,\u201d he could invite Chicago-born Pope Leo \u2014 a critic of the Trump administration\u2019s anti-immigration policies \u2014 to be his final guest.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to get Leo on here,\u201d Colbert said, jokingly adding, \u201cHe\u2019s ghosting me. He\u2019s holy ghosting me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sykes then replied: \u201cYou get the pope here but when the pope gets here, he\u2019s got to go the hell off, he got to burn this bitch down.\u201d<\/p>\n
