\n\t\u201cFast & Furious\u201d star Jordana Brewster<\/a> is speeding on over to Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 upcoming series \u201cBishop<\/a>.\u201d On the thriller, in the works for Prime Video, Brewster will play Kat Clairborne, described as a \u201cseasoned\u201d inspector inside the San Francisco Police Department.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrewster joins a cast that includes Joel Kinaman, John Malkovich and Jennifer Jason Leigh<\/a>, who was announced earlier this week as Malkovich\u2019s sister, Jillian Graves.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBishop\u201d was\u00a0picked up at Prime Video<\/a>\u00a0last September. The series, an original idea from co-creators Little Marvin (\u201cThem\u201d) and Tony Saltzman (\u201cDexter: Resurrection\u201d), centers on Bishop \u2014 described as \u201cbrilliant, battle-scarred \u2013 will put all of his skills to the test in the hunt for an elusive killer targeting San Francisco\u2019s moneyed class. As this increasingly audacious killer develops a devoted following among the city\u2019s powerless, Bishop becomes convinced these murders connect back to SF\u2019s most powerful man, his own father, Lincoln Graves.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBrewster\u2019s recent TV credits include FX\u2019s \u201cAmerican Crime Story,\u201d as well as Fox\u2019s \u201cLethal Weapon,\u201d TNT\u2019s \u201cDallas\u201d and ABC\u2019s \u201cSecrets and Lies.\u201d In film, she\u2019ll next be seen in the indie \u201cThe Pirate King,\u201d with Annabeth Gish and Rob Riggle, which premieres this coming week at the SXSW festival in Austin. She also recently appeared in Sony\u2019s \u201cHeart Eyes,\u201d as well as the Lionsgate thriller \u201cCellar Door.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBrewster is probably best known for her part in the hugely successful \u201cFast & Furious\u201d franchise, having appeared in seven of the ten installments.<\/p>\n

\n\tLittle Marvin, who has an overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios, will serve as showrunner in addition to co-creator and exec producer, while Saltzman is also co-creator\/EP. Roy Lee is a non-writing executive producer, as is Miri Yoon of Vertigo. Amazon MGM Studios, where Little Marvin is under an overall deal, will produce.<\/p>\n
