An adult male aged in his teens was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment of his injuries, while a male juvenile was detained. He is being held today at Garda Station in the Cork city under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A Garda spokesperson told CorkBeo: &#8220;Garda\u00ed and emergency services attended the scene of a serious assault in Blackrock, Cork city on Sunday 15th March 2026 shortly before 1:00am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;An adult male (aged in his late teens) was conveyed Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries.
