Coronation Street<\/a> has addressed Nina Lucas star Mollie Gallagher’s hair transformation for the first time since the actor underwent an off-screen change. Earlier this year, Gallagher transformed her look<\/a> with a hair makeover, changing her blonde locks back to black. <\/p>\n

Not only did she change her hair colour, but the soap star also added a fresh set of extensions, transforming her shoulder-length hair into a waist-length style.<\/p>\n

Addressing the change for the first time on screen in tonight’s episode of the ITV soap<\/a>, Nina was seen sporting long black hair, with Lisa commenting on it as she entered the caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

“Oh! Back to black, as Amy Winehouse would say,” said Lisa, with Nina replying: “Yeah. I mean. I got a bit bored of being blonde. It’s a bit meh.” Realising what she had said to Lisa, who is blonde, Nina added: “Not on you, of course.”<\/p>\n

Back when Gallagher revealed her new look, she shared a selfie on Instagram<\/a> along with a caption, which read: “New year old me xoxo \ud83d\udda4 Hair colour and extensions by the best hair transformer.”<\/p>\n

Taking to the comment section, several of Gallagher’s co-stars shared their thoughts on the makeover, with Amy Barlow star Elle Mulvaney, saying she looked “unreal”. <\/p>\n

Summer Spellman actor Harriet Bibby said she was “obsessed”, while Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, called Gallagher a “beautiful girl”.<\/p>\n

Fans also took to the comments to share their thoughts, with one fan commenting: “WOW, that colour really suits you, keep it!”<\/p>\n

“Although light hair suits you, you look amazing with it black,” penned another, with one person writing: “So Stunningly Amazing! The Gothic Style is coming back. YES!”<\/p>\n

“You make me want this hair colour back so bad and you look beautiful,” said one soap fan, while another wrote: “Like both but really think the black looks awesome!”<\/p>\n
