Former West Coast Eagle<\/a> and radio personality Xavier Ellis discussed parenting fails on his Breakfast with Xav & Katie show on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\nThe media personality was quick to dive into the shocking ordeal to listeners across WA.<\/p>\n
\u201cYesterday I told (my son) to not move as I was cutting his nails and he moved . . . I took the top of his finger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
After sharing the tale of his own slip-up, Xav invited parents to call into the show to share their biggest parenting fails that resulted in their child getting hurt.<\/p>\n
One caller named Jason shared a story of the time he about accidentally punching his daughter whilst at a birthday party with a pinata involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy mate had a little birthday party and they set up a pinata and I was the security guard,\u201d he told hosts Xav and Katie.<\/p>\n
As Jason was protecting the pinata, he was joking around and somehow accidentally knocked his own daughter instead of the pinata.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have done the big Power Ranger move and just thrown the fist forward, and my own daughter has come running forward and made contact.\u201d<\/p>\n
He then said his daughter went \u201cflying\u201d after she had been punched by her own father.<\/p>\n
Another caller named Jade contacted the show to explain her parenting fail.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was changing the baby\u2019s nap and my two-and-a-half-year-old wanted to go into the cot so I chucked her in there,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen I\u2019m changing the baby\u2019s nappy and the two-and-a-half-year-old fell out of the cot screaming, carrying on.\u201d<\/p>\n
But it got worse.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhilst I was dealing with that, the six-and-a-half-month-old fell off the change table.\u201d<\/p>\n
The hosts were visibly in shock by the tale, with Katie called the accident a \u201cdouble whammy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jade then went onto add that her husband was on speakerphone during the whole ordeal.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy husband\u2019s thinking its a blood bath.\u201d<\/p>\n
Luckily they survived.<\/p>\n
Another caller, Jessica told Xavier and Katie about the time she watched her son ride a scooter.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy son went over his scooter, smashed his front two teeth and broke his wrist,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
To make matters worse, Jessica revealed her son\u2019s shocking accident took place on the first day of school holidays.<\/p>\n
The mother went on to say that he spent the entire school break in a cast, with it being removed on the very last day of the holidays.<\/p>\n
