For those who could not make it, below we break down what you missed.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hosted at Oranj, the evening was already off to a good start. Known for its cosy atmosphere and even better plates (still thinking about those croquettes), the venue felt like the perfect setting. It was a close-knit night, more like a gathering of friends than a typical brand event \u2014 that is, if all your friends are stylists, creatives and people who know how to dress for a day that starts outside. But beyond the great drinks and even better outfits, every good party needs a good set. Luckily, Merrell delivered. With an eclectic DJ\u00a0lineup including\u00a0Dean Bryce<\/a>, the music kept the room moving, and we could not help but feel\u00a0a little groovy.<\/p>\n Everyone loves an activity-centred hangout. You and your friends might book pottery or a game of padel. At Merrell, however, the social ritual of choice was weaving yarn. A weaving workshop hosted by Nots<\/a> and Coyle Studio<\/a> invited guests to try their hand at braiding with woven materials similar to those used on the slip-ons, transforming them into bottle holders, key charms and bag accessories, all while enjoying drinks from the open bar. Think \u201csip and paint\u201d, but make it \u201csip and braid\u201d. Soon, the room was full of guests getting stuck in, hands moving methodically as strands intertwined. One guest proudly announced that their newly braided bag charm was destined for their backpack, ready to make its debut on their next trip outside.<\/p>\n Placed conveniently next to the braid station was a photobooth set-up: a sleek metallic backdrop and a Polaroid-wielding photographer ready to immortalise the fits of the night. Each guest received two snaps and a mini poster to stick them on and annotate their outfit. Some kept it brief. Others went deep into the details of their look. It was here that the event\u2019s most fashionable attendees, many of them stylists, got to exhibit their outfits and dissect them properly.\u00a0<\/p>\n Some leaned into the outdoor DNA of the shoe, others into its leisure appeal. One partygoer styled her black Moab Slides with baby-blue parachute cargos and a floaty polka dot blouse. Another wore the cream pair with loose green trousers and, coincidentally, another polka dot top. Standing next to each other, they looked almost colour-coordinated, as if styled for the same editorial. Tracksuit bottoms proved another popular choice, leaning into the shoe\u2019s casual side.
