Daisy revealed that Palaash hesitated to approach her personally for the project following the controversy surrounding his personal life.\u201cI got 2\u20133 calls from random people saying that there is a film that Palaash is making, and he wants me to be a part of the film. I was like Palaash knows me personally because I am really good friends with Palash\u2019s sister Palak, so I was thinking if Palash wants to speak to me, he will contact me directly, or he would message me through Palak so why am I getting a message from a random person?\u201d she told Miss Malini.The actress, who shares a close bond with his sister Palak Muchhal, eventually reached out to him herself.\u201cSo, I happened to drop a message to Palash, asking about the same, and he said, \u2018yeah ma\u2019am this is true, but because of the situation lately, I am not calling personally anybody because it might go on a different tangent altogether\u2019,\u201d she added. The two later connected for a narration, and Daisy agreed to be part of the film.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t mix personal and professional life\u2019<\/p>\n

When asked if the controversy made her sceptical about working with him, Daisy maintained a balanced stance.\u201cI can switch off from personal life to professional life, and I don\u2019t think your personal life should affect your professional life. First of all, I don\u2019t know what is the actual story,\u201d she said.\u201cThere are always two sides to a coin. We really don\u2019t know what went wrong because it is between two families, we are sitting here and judging from what we heard from the media houses. We don\u2019t know what is the actual truth, and that doesn\u2019t mean that I am nullifying the woman side of the story. I\u2019m just being neutral. Also, he contacted me on a professional level. So, who am I to even judge a book by its cover?,\u201d she added, stressing that she prefers not to judge without knowing the full truth. <\/p>\n
