As is the tradition, Salman Khan’s family coming together to greet fans on Eid is a ritual synonymous with the celebrations on this day. Salman Khan did not disappoint his fans today on the occasion of Eid, as he stood behind the bullet-proof glass of his balcony, waving at them and blowing kisses.<\/p>\n
Fans were elated as Salim Khan, who had recently been discharged from hospital, also waved at them, and soon the whole family joined in.<\/p>\n
Considering how concerned fans had been about Salim Khan’s health-and this being his first appearance after the health scare-the video went viral in no time.<\/p>\n
Other than Salim Khan and Salman Khan, the latter’s mother Sushila Charak, Sohail Khan and his son, Arbaaz Khan, and Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s children were also seen with the family, greeting a massive crowd gathered in front of Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments.<\/p>\n
Salim Khan’s Latest Update<\/p>\n
Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, who was hospitalised in Mumbai last month after suffering a brain haemorrhage, was discharged on Tuesday, sources said.<\/p>\n
The 90-year-old, one half of the celebrated Salim-Javed duo-which scripted films such as\u00a0Sholay, Deewar\u00a0and Don with Javed Akhtar-was admitted to the ICU of Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on February 17.<\/p>\n
A day after his admission, doctors at the hospital said Khan had suffered a brain haemorrhage that had been tackled, and he was put on ventilator support as a safeguard.<\/p>\n
“He has been discharged. The discharge process has been completed, but he is still in the hospital,” a source told PTI on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Salim Khan’s children-including superstar Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, daughters Alvira and Arpita, and sons-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma-visited him regularly in hospital. His long-time partner Akhtar had also visited him.<\/p>\n
Other than\u00a0Sholay, Deewar\u00a0and Don, Khan and Akhtar also penned Trishul, Zanjeer, Seeta Aur Geeta, Haathi Mere Saathi, Yaadon Ki Baarat,\u00a0and Mr India.<\/p>\n
