James McFadden has set the record straight on claims that Celtic fans are spoiled.<\/p>\n

The ex-Scotland hero turned Sky Sports<\/a> pundit was working on the TV coverage for the Hoops\u2019 dismal defeat to Dundee United.<\/a><\/p>\n

After the game, McFadden<\/a> laid into the club\u2019s regression that has seen them slip from a position of strength, not for the first time under the current board.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard for any Celtic<\/a> fan to disagree with the points he makes.<\/p>\n

McFadden said on Sky Sports: \u201cYou see the reaction from the fans at the end of the game \u2013 that\u2019s been something that\u2019s been there all season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not because Celtic are faltering towards the end of a campaign of trying to win the league. It\u2019s not a kneejerk reaction to a defeat.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s because, when you look at those stats\u2026 you go back a year-and-a-half ago to January: Kyogo leaves, he\u2019s still not been replaced.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s still not been replaced! You look at the goals that are out of the team. Kuhn, not been replaced. Certainly not with quality anyway.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where the frustration is, Celtic haven\u2019t moved forward. They haven\u2019t even stood still, they\u2019ve moved so far back. It is unbelievable.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom where they were coming into the start of the season, or finishing, certainly, the end of last season before the cup final, to where they are now, is alarming.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where the frustration is. And I know that fans of other teams look at the Celtic fans and say \u2018entitled, you\u2019re spoiled, you\u2019re used to winning, take your medicine\u2019\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThe position that Celtic were in to where they are now is remarkable. That they\u2019ve allowed this to happen. Because you look at goals, you look at the teams that are winning back-to-back home and away games against Celtic, teams have beat them twice in the season\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s because [of] the poor planning. The poor action in the summer. It\u2019s coming home to roost for them now, and the noise from the fans won\u2019t be going away any time soon, either.\u201d<\/p>\n

The signings from the Hoops\u2019 winter window have been anything but consistent so far, with the exception of Julian Araujo.<\/a><\/p>\n

For Joel Mvuka<\/a> and Junior Adamu,<\/a> there are serious causes for concern.<\/p>\n
