Liam and Noel Gallagher<\/a> reunited for a rare public outing on Sunday as they celebrated Manchester City\u2019s Carabao Cup<\/a> final win at Wembley.<\/p>\n

The brothers\u2019 famously turbulent relationship led to Oasis splitting 15 years ago, following a series of backstage bust-ups, walkouts and booze-fuelled arguments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, last year they reunited for an epic 41-date world tour, which kicked off with a huge show at Cardiff\u2019s Principality Stadium in front of more than 70,000 fans.<\/p>\n

As they continue to rebuild their relationship, the pair headed to Wembley Stadium in London to watch their favourite team, Manchester City, secure a 2\u20130 victory over Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Spotted in a private box among the crowds, the brothers could be seen cheering as they watched their team conquer the Gunners.<\/p>\n

It comes after Noel praised his brother Liam while he accepted the Songwriter of the Year gong at the 2026 BRIT Awards<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Oasis rocker, 58, was honoured at the annual ceremony at the Co-op Live arena.<\/p>\n

Despite their famously turbulent relationship following the split of Oasis in 2009, Noel publicly acknowledged Liam, 53, and his role in their shared musical legacy.<\/p>\n

Noel bluntly said: ‘Yes, Manchester! I’m gonna start by saying I’ve got to thank my brother. And Bonehead, Guigsy and Andy and Gem. Without them I’d just be a singer-songwriter and nobody gives a s*** about singer-songwriters.’<\/p>\n

The High Flying Birds frontman was introduced by Pep Guardiola – the manager of his beloved football team Manchester City – and he issued a rallying cry for City that divided the crowd at the Co-Op Live Arena.<\/p>\n

Noel added: ‘Up the f****** blues.’<\/p>\n

The award for Noel was somewhat controversial as he hasn’t written a new song for two years – although the rocker insisted that he would ‘have it out’ with anyone who wanted to complain about it.<\/p>\n

Speaking on talkSPORT, Noel previously said: ‘I haven’t written a song for two years. I’m not sure how I’ve got away with that one, but I’ll take it.<\/p>\n

‘Well, I think the BRITs is all based on record sales, and I’m not sure there was another single songwriter that sold\u2026 I mean, we sold a million records last year. Didn’t even get off the couch and I’m not sure there’s a songwriter that can match that.<\/p>\n

‘But you know, if anybody’s got a problem with it, meet me there. We’ll have it out on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

‘If any of those wet wipes songwriting teams, all 11 of them, want to write a song between the lot of them, want to have it out on the red carpet, I’m there.’<\/p>\n

Noel explained that he has written new music but felt that he was honoured because it is the first time that the BRIT Awards are being held in Manchester.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘I’m in the studio now, so I’d better do something out soon. If I am honest I think they just were desperate to get someone from Oasis up there ‘cos it is in Manchester.’<\/p>\n

After working through countless bickers since they shot to stardom in the 1990s, fans were left devastated when a dressing room feud in Paris tore the band apart in 2009.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Noel\u00a0issued a statement at the time, saying: ‘It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.’<\/p>\n

In another statement a few days later, titled Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere, Noel added: ‘I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.<\/p>\n

‘And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.’<\/p>\n

In the years that have followed, a feud and bitter fighting has ensued with the brothers trading insults back and forth in interviews and social media.<\/p>\n

Despite delight over their reunion, fans anxiously worried\u00a0that the warring siblings may not make it to their gigs.<\/p>\n

However they were overjoyed to find the tour went off without a hitch, as Christian also addressed the question that was on everyone’s minds: Did Liam and Noel truly get on?<\/p>\n

He said: ‘Yes they did, it wasn\u2019t over the top like, it was people being genuinely warm after forgiving each other and starting to tentatively move forward. What you saw was real.’<\/p>\n
