The company now brings the latest patch to its Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models, improving device security. As usual, the rollout has begun in South Korea, with other regions, including the US, to follow soon.

The Galaxy S24 series grabs this month’s security patch

All three Galaxy S24 models are now picking up the March 2026 security update with version CZC1. The update brings the latest batch of security enhancements to address newly discovered vulnerabilities in both One UI and Android components. According to the company’s official security bulletin, a total of 67 vulnerabilities have been fixed.

If you want your device to remain secure, you should install the update as soon as possible. You just need to head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update has downloaded, you will need to restart your device once to apply the fresh patch.

While you won’t see any new features in this build, it appears to be laying the foundation for the next major software jump. The Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 beta build for the Galaxy S24 series recently popped up on internal test servers. This suggests that a public beta release for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra is just around the corner.

Interestingly, for the first time, Samsung could launch its major beta testing program for Fan Edition models, including the Galaxy S24 FE and S25 FE. This will allow more users to test the new software before the stable release. As usual, the beta should be available through the Samsung Members app in regions like South Korea and the US.

Debuted on the Galaxy S26 series, One UI 8.5 brings several UI tweaks and new features for a refreshed Galaxy experience. We’ll let you know when the company rolls out the beta build for the S24 series.

SammyGuru has affiliate and sponsored partnerships, we may earn a commission.
