As a new week of Emmerdale begins tonight, John Sugden<\/a> continues to keep us guessing as he plots his next move. Does he still pose a threat to the villagers? And will he manage to get away before the police catch up with him?<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, there are tense times at the local GP surgery as Manpreet Sharma fears that John’s reign of terror could reflect badly on the practice. With everyone so distracted, will Liam Cavanagh neglect his own health concerns<\/a>?<\/p>\n

1. John lurks \u2013 and comes face-to-face with Harry\"emmerdale,<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Police officers continue to swarm around the village, determined to keep everybody safe as John remains at large. Sadly, the hapless lot seem to have missed the fact that John is lurking in Keepers Cottage while his sister Victoria and brother Robert are both out.<\/p>\n

When the pair finally return home with Victoria’s son Harry, the young lad rushes inside and comes face-to-face with John.<\/p>\n

2. John plans to target Robert\"emmerdale,<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

John isn’t at Keepers for sentimental reasons \u2013 he’s clutching a syringe full of poison and plans to attack Robert with it as soon as he gets his chance.<\/p>\n

Oblivious to their sinister sibling’s presence, Victoria and Robert chat outside. John is given food for thought when Victoria admits how much she cared about him \u2013 and wonders whether he ever genuinely felt the same way. As John rushes off, has he really abandoned his plans to get rid of Robert?<\/p>\n

3. Caleb’s stunned when John turns up at the depot\"caleb<\/p>\n

Caleb can’t believe John’s brass neck when the villain makes his presence felt during a secret trip to the depot. With lorries going in and out of the premises all day every day, John has figured out that this could prove useful to him.<\/p>\n

John orders Caleb<\/a> to help him make his escape from the country, otherwise he’ll tell everyone that Ruby killed her abusive father Anthony<\/a>. Will Caleb be forced into a deal with the devil?<\/p>\n

4. Claudette takes matters into her own hands\"claudette<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Claudette correctly guesses that Liam won’t have been proactive in seeking a doctors appointment amid his ongoing health concerns.<\/p>\n

Liam feels pressured when Claudette reveals that she has booked him a slot with a doctor at another surgery. With Liam still burying his head in the sand, will he accept Claudette’s nudge in the right direction?<\/p>\n

5. Manpreet makes an alarming discovery\"manpreet<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

At the surgery, Manpreet grimly informs Liam and Claudette that John has been helping himself to medication.<\/p>\n

Manpreet discovered the truth during a cursory look through the surgery’s supplies. She now suggests a full audit so that the practice can stay on top of the situation and uncover any more skeletons in the closet. <\/p>\n

6. Ross gets a chance to help April\"michael<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

It’s a busy day for Ross, as he reminds Charity that he wants a DNA test to find out who’s the father<\/a> of the baby she’s carrying. He’s also drawn into dramas at Moira’s farm.<\/p>\n

In a case of bad timing, April chooses this moment to try opening up to Ross about the troubles that she’s facing with scheming drug dealer Ray<\/a>. Will Ross step in to save the day \u2013 or be too distracted to help?<\/p>\n
