Four years after she was forced to postpone her European tour<\/a> due to stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder<\/a> that causes spasms and muscle stiffness, Celine Dion is getting ready for a major return to the stage in Paris.<\/p>\n

Per Variety<\/a>, Dion will perform two concerts a week throughout September and October at the Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena. The news was first reported by the French-Canadian outlet, La Presse.<\/a> However, a clever teaser campaign offered Parisians the first hints of Dion\u2019s return. Posters with iconic song titles, including \u201cPour que tu m\u2019aimes encore\u201d and \u201cPower of Love,\u201d began appearing on street posts all over the city.<\/p>\n

This will be Dion\u2019s first full concert performance since she completed her Courage World Tour in 2020. Dion sang \u201cHymne \u00e0 l\u2019amour\u201d at the 2024 Olympics and was caught singing backstage at the Grammys,<\/a> but since her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, she has not performed a full set. \u201cI\u2019m working hard with my sports-medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform, but I have to admit: It\u2019s been a struggle,\u201d Dion said on Instagram in 2022. \u201cAll I know is singing.\u201d<\/p>\n
