\n\tHannah Montana<\/a> is turning 20, and Miley Cyrus<\/a> is celebrating with an hour-long special<\/a> \u2014 with the help of some of her fellow pop stars.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special sees Cyrus return to the set of the Disney<\/a> Channel show that launched her career, reflecting on her wigs, her closet and her early days in Hollywood alongside her mom Tish and dad Billy Ray.<\/p>\n

\n\tSelena Gomez<\/a>, who played Hannah Montana\u2019s enemy Mikayla in the series, also stopped by in the special to reminisce. \u201cWhen I watch it back, I\u2019m like \u2018we were vicious,’\u201d Cyrus said, with the two characters throwing insults at each other constantly. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s pretty mean! I don\u2019t think they\u2019d get away with saying half of that now,\u201d Gomez said. \u201cI was so mean, I\u2019m sorry!\u201d Cyrus teased back that \u201cwe can make amends now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAdding to the star power, Chappell Roan<\/a>, who grew up watching Hanna Montana, makes a surprise appearance as well, telling Cyrus that \u201cyou literally walked so I could run.\u201d Chappell pointed to her own moments confronting photographers<\/a> on the carpet and how Cyrus paved the way for her.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was gagged for that,\u201d Cyrus said, to which Roan replied, \u201cBut that\u2019s because you took a lot of the heat for that in 2012, 2013.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t have to deal with that as much because the world really took it out on you<\/a>,\u201d Roan said, harkening back to the response to Cyrus\u2019 album Bangerz and her infamous VMAs performance with Robin Thicke.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTo see you be the artist you are, to be able to do this, just shows like your heart and your appreciation for your younger self and what got you here,\u201d Roan continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Cyrus said: \u201cThat\u2019s really what this whole moment, this whole celebration, is about \u2014 loving on our younger selves, knowing that my younger me worked so hard so I could have the life that I have now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn another moment in the special, Cyrus \u2014 who at points throughout is interviewed by Call Her Daddy\u2018s Alex Cooper \u2014 touches on Taylor Swift\u2019s appearance in 2009\u2019s Hannah Montana: The Movie.<\/p>\n

\n\tTeasing \u201cget the tea kettle,\u201d Cyrus reflected how \u201cthis was kind of the beginning of her career and they were looking for someone who would authentically, no shade, I guess, be performing in a barn. We both performed in the barn and so she came and did the performance.\u201d Swift also wrote the movie\u2019s finale song \u201cYou\u2019ll Always Find Your Way Back Home,\u201d to which Cyrus declared: \u201cShe ate with that one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus takes the stage for several songs during the special as well, doing modern renditions of \u201cBest of Both Worlds,\u201d \u201cThis is the Life\u201d and \u201cThe Climb.\u201d She closes with a new song dedicated to her time on the show, telling the audience directly to camera that \u201cit\u2019s been an honor to celebrate 20 years with Hannah Montana, and I\u2019ve looked back at every memory with a heart full of love. Hannah, she gave me my start, but my fans gave me this life.\u201d<\/p>\n
