\n\tAfter performing for the first time in years at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Celine Dion<\/a> may be returning to the city for a series of shows at the La D\u00e9fense Arena that would mark a long-awaited comeback amid her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.<\/p>\n

\n\tClues that the icon may be planning something in Paris arose over the weekend, with local fans reporting online Monday (March 23) that signs quoting Dion\u2019s lyrics had begun popping up in the City of Love. One placed outside<\/a> the Cafe du Louvre displayed, \u201cMy Heart Will Go On\u201d \u2014 the title of the vocalist\u2019s 1998 Billboard Hot 100<\/a>-topper \u2014 while others read<\/a>, \u201cPour que tu m\u2019aimes encore\u201d and \u201cPower of love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso on Monday, Variety<\/a> confirmed a Sunday report from French-Canadian publication La Presse<\/a>, which stated that Dion was locked in to give two concerts each week of September and October at La D\u00e9fense.<\/p>\n

\n\tBillboard has reached out to Dion\u2019s rep for confirmation.<\/p>\n

\n\tIf the star does return to the stage in Paris, it will be the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance in the face of Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological condition that causes severe muscle spasms; Dion revealed her diagnosis<\/a> in 2022. The condition led her to cancel her <\/a>North American and European tour dates planned for that year and the next.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn her 2024 documentary, I Am: C\u00e9line Dion, the vocalist pulled back the curtain on her illness and opened up about her determination to get back on stage someday. In July 2024, she did just that, performing an emotional rendition<\/a> of Edith Piaf\u2019s \u201cHymne A L\u2019Amour\u201d from within the Eiffel Tower during the Summer Olympics opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

\n\tHer reported upcoming residency would make good on Dion\u2019s pledge<\/a> in the doc: \u201cIf I can\u2019t run, I\u2019ll walk. If I can\u2019t walk, I\u2019ll crawl \u2026 I won\u2019t stop.\u201d<\/p>\n
