\n\tFresh from Disney\u2019s Chip n\u2019 Dale: Rescue Rangers, director Akiva Schaffer<\/a>, Dan Gregor<\/a> and Doug Mand<\/a> have been set. Schaffer will direct and rework with Gregor & Mand an original script by Michael Montemayor (Tangled).<\/p>\n

\n\tAli Bell is producing for Party Over Here, and Disney Live Action EVP Jessica Virtue will oversee with creative exec Cady Stark. Gregor & Mand also scripted the hit reboot of The Naked Gun. <\/p>\n

\n\tSchaffer is longtime partners with The Lonely Island\u2019s Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, their Party Over Here is producing. Emmy and Peabody winners for their Saturday Night Live work, they produced the animated series\u00a0Digman!,\u00a0PEN15 and the Emmy-winning series\u00a0I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, and the Sundance Festival sensation Palm Springs.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey are in production on the action comedy\u00a0Protecting Jared\u00a0starring Jason Momoa and Samberg for Netflix, filming on location in Hawaii.<\/p>\n

\n\tSchaffer is repped by CAA, and Gregor & Mand by UTA and Kaplan\/Perrone.
