\n\tFormer Pussycat Dolls <\/a>member Jessica Sutta believes her Make America Healthy Again (MAHA<\/a>) views and support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> cost her the chance to reunite with the group for their upcoming PCD Forever Tour<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, the Pussycat Dolls announced they would be returning as a trio with singer Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt hitting the road for a 53-date world tour across North America, the U.K., and Europe. They recently dropped \u201cClub Song\u201d in the lead-up to the tour kicking off in California in June.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tOriginally a six-member sultry pop group with Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton part of the lineup before they disbanded in 2010, the Pussycat Dolls returned for a 2019 reunion tour sans Thornton, who declined to return. The latest iteration has additionally lost both Sutta and Bachar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSutta said she was \u201cblindsided\u201d by the comeback and chalked up the decision to her backing of Kennedy, the controversial U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, whom Sutta affectionately refers to as \u201cBobby.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was a liability,\u201d Sutta explained on a recent episode of The Maverick Approach podcast. \u201cI align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA. Do I love what Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. But we didn\u2019t have a chance for the [vaccine] injured community to get help without him. Even though he doesn\u2019t want us to exist, by the way. People are screaming at me, \u2018You\u2019re MAGA, you\u2019re MAGA.\u2019 Yeah, I am. I triple down on it because I\u2019m so sick of people telling me who I should be.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Sutta claimed to the Daily Mail <\/a>that she suffers from chronic fatigue and muscle pain, among other medical issues, after receiving a second dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine in 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring her The Maverick Approach podcast appearance, Sutta continued to gush about Kennedy, calling him \u201cselfless\u201d and a \u201cwonderful human being.\u201d She added that she helped Kennedy with his 2024 presidential election campaign, speaking at some events and publicly endorsing him<\/a>, and noted that it was \u201cbittersweet\u201d when he dropped out of the race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wanted to see him as president,\u201d Sutta said. \u201cI think he\u2019s an amazing human. I think he\u2019s too good to be president though. He has too big of a heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen it came to her feelings about being left out, Sutta expressed that she was particularly upset with the group\u2019s founder Robin Antin, whom Sutta said she had been trying to gain clarity from for months after catching wind of rumors of a possible reunion. As for Scherzinger, Sutta said the lead singer gave her a call the day the announcement was made, but Sutta isn\u2019t in a rush to talk to her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI didn\u2019t answer,\u201d Sutta said. \u201cI don\u2019t plan to call her back. I love Nicole, this is very bittersweet for me. I respect her as an artist. I even cried of joy when she won her Tony [for Sunset Boulevard] just recently \u2026 I definitely was rooting for her, but this showed me exactly why I\u2019m not in the group. They showed exactly to me who they are.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFellow Pussycat Dolls alum Bachar also said she was left out of the loop<\/a> regarding the reunion, saying the move was \u201cdisappointing on a personal level\u201d but she remains proud of her time in the group.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGiven my history with the brand, having been part of its foundation long before its commercial debut and instrumental in the connections that led to the record deal, I would have appreciated direct communication,\u201d Bachar wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cI believe the legacy of any group is built not only by those seen on stage, but also by the collective contributions and shared vision that brought it to life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFor their part, the current members of the Pussycat Dolls explained the newly slimmed-down group was just part of its history of having an \u201cever-changing lineup.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt just so happens that right now we\u2019re in a space where we feel united and ready to push forward,\u201d Wyatt told the BBC<\/a>. \u201cThis is the lineup for 2026 \u2014 but you never know with the Pussycat Dolls what might come next.\u201d<\/p>\n
