Lady Marina Windsor appears to be gearing up for her wedding after sharing photos from her bachelorette weekend. The granddaughter of the Duke of Kent<\/a> posted images and videos to Instagram<\/a> from her \u201chen do,\u201d as a bachelorette party is referred to in the UK, on the Isle of Sheppey, off the northern coast of Kent and approximately 40 miles from London.<\/p>\n Describing her guests as her \u201cmagical hens\u201d and writing that her heart was \u201cbursting with love and gratitude,\u201d Lady Marina, 33, could be seen in a simple white silk dress with a veil in one photo, and a white scarf top with a boho maxi skirt in others. Her younger sister, Lady Amelia Windsor, 30, was among those present.<\/p>\n Lady Marina got engaged to Nico Macauley, 32, an account executive at the American cybersecurity firm Zscaler, last year. The couple announced their engagement<\/a> on June 8, a date that carried particular meaning as it was the wedding anniversary of her grandparents, the Duke and Duchess of Kent.<\/p>\n Lady Marina Windsor and her dad at Wimbledon 2022.<\/p>\n The daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews<\/a> and historian Dr. Sylvana Tomaseli, Lady Marina is notably not in the line of succession, having been removed after converting to Catholicism in 2008. (Before that, she was 25th in line.) Her younger sister, Lady Amelia Windsor<\/a>, is still in the line of succession.<\/p>\n Her grandfather, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent<\/a>, is a cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth. He married Katharine Worsley in 1961. The Duchess of Kent<\/a> died last September, and both Lady Amelia and Lady Marina were at the funeral at Westminster Cathedral<\/a>. \u201cI love my grandpa.
