Chappell Roan<\/a> has surprised fans by bringing out Heart<\/a>\u2018s Nancy Wilson<\/a> for a cover of \u2018Barracuda\u2019. Check out footage below.<\/p>\n

The moment took place yesterday (Sunday September 21) during Chappell Roan\u2019s live show at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. The gig marked the second of her four scheduled dates at the venue.<\/p>\n

After kicking off with songs like \u2018Femininomenon\u2019, \u2018After Midnight\u2019, \u2018Naked In Manhattan\u2019 and \u2018Guilty Pleasure\u2019, Roan broke out her huge hit \u2018HOT TO GO!\u2019 before performing her usual cover of Heart\u2019s classic song \u2018Barracuda\u2019.<\/p>\n

While it is nothing new for Roan to break out the song at her shows, this time she took things one step further by bringing out Heart\u2019s own Wilson for the rendition. In fan-captured footage, Wilson can be seen playing guitar and duetting with the pop star, who dances alongside her.<\/p>\n

Last December, Roan revealed that Heart\u2019s \u2018Barracuda\u2019 was her most-listened-to song of 2024<\/a>. Her Spotify Wrapped results also featured Heart at Number Three in her top five artists of the year.<\/p>\n

Roan\u2019s shows in Queens continue over the next two nights, and follow a huge summer of headline shows at festivals across the globe.<\/p>\n

One of which was a headline slot at this year\u2019s Reading & Leeds<\/a>, which was given a glowing five-star review by NME<\/a>. \u201cThroughout the performance, there\u2019s a feeling of camaraderie and community in the crowd,\u201d it read. \u201cStrangers become new acquaintances, the \u2018Hot To Go\u2019 dance unites everyone in clumsily trying to remember the moves and in the right order, and before \u2018Red Wine Supernova\u2019, everyone raises pink cowboy hats and pink bandanas aloft.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels like tens of thousands of like-minded people who\u2019ve all got the same memo and have been brought together with the same intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roan hasn\u2019t released an album since 2023\u2019s huge hit \u2018The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess\u2019<\/a>. This summer, Roan confirmed she has \u201cno idea\u201d what her next album will sound like<\/a>, saying: \u201cI think that once this is done and the US shows are done, it\u2019ll definitely feel like a big breath of weight off my shoulders just so I can chill for a sec and actually think about writing.
