Emily Atack<\/a> has revealed the devastating loss of her ex Charlie Edwards as she shared a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The TV personality, 36, was linked to the tattoo artist, who was nine years her junior, back in 2021 after they were spotted kissing in London on a date.<\/a><\/p>\n

Emily said she ‘can only hope and pray that you have found some peace’ as she paid tribute to her ‘friend’ Charlie. His cause of death is unknown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pair reminded good friends following their split, with Emily revealing in her tribute they would talk ‘hours on end on the phone’.<\/p>\n

She wrote: ‘This is devastating to write. Charlie you were my friend. You were ALWAYS there for me. You dropped everything so many times to come and be with me.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘We talked for hours on end on the phone about absolutely everything. We helped each other.<\/p>\n

‘You were funny, SO smart, so talented and caring. I can only hope and pray that you have found some peace.<\/p>\n

‘My heart breaks for your family who will forever be so proud of you. Beautiful boy, beautiful soul. I’m so so sorry. Rest in peace Charlie.’<\/p>\n

The comedian split from the model after her hectic work schedule and strict Covid-19 rules made it difficult for them to see each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was first revealed that the pair were an item back in October 2021, but the couple ended their romance after just three months.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Emily’s work schedule has been busy lately and she’s had to really focus on making that work.<\/p>\n

‘She was really into Charlie, who is obviously very handsome, and there was a good spark there, but it’s definitely over.’<\/p>\n

The Celebrity Juice star was said to have been ‘totally taken with’ the tattooed model after they met through mutual friends.<\/p>\n

A friend previously told the publication: ‘Emily seems totally taken with Charlie and he’s really into her. They met through a mutual friend.’<\/p>\n

Their romance was revealed in October after they were spotted packing on the PDA during a night out in London.<\/p>\n

Friends told The Sun at the time that the Inbetweeners star was wooed by Charlie on Instagram before they started dating.\u00a0<\/p>\n
