Leeds United\u2019s win against Wolves saw several players impress.<\/p>\n
The Whites are up to 12th in the Premier League<\/a> after five games, having accumulated seven points so far this season.<\/p>\n Leeds\u2019 3-1 victory over Wolves<\/a> was their first away win of the season, and only their second in general, as Daniel Farke looks to get his side to a point of being able to compete in the Premier League.<\/p>\n Dominic Calvert-Lewin\u2019s goal for Leeds<\/a> saw him talked about a lot, but another man who got on the scoresheet has received plenty of praise from Troy Deeney.<\/p>\n Plenty of the fears were subdued by the win at Molineux, though one player who has very rarely sparked any concern so far is Anton Stach<\/a>.<\/p>\n Since arriving at Elland Road, the German\u2019s quality has been clear to see, and he has very rarely put a foot wrong in the Premier League.<\/p>\n Stach scored a screamer for Leeds in their emphatic win over Wolves<\/a> at the weekend, but impressed with his overall game, with Deeney naming him in his BBC Sport<\/a> Team of the Week.<\/p>\n Stach\u2019s stats vs Wolves<\/p>\n 32 completed passes1 chance created1 goal scored from 0.08 xG5 ground duels won3 tackles 4 clearances<\/p>\n On his inclusion, he said: \u201cHe scored a worldie against Wolves, which helps. Stach has been impressive since coming in at Leeds.<\/p>\n \u201d I\u2019ve watched a couple of their games \u2013 high energy, high tempo. He\u2019s a very physical, very demanding player.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s very rare that a Premier League side\u2019s biggest threat is through the middle, but for Leeds, that seems to be the case with Stach.<\/p>\n Including his pre-season strike against AC Milan, Stach has showcased his ability to score from range<\/a>, and it is something that the Whites need to take advantage of far more often.<\/p>\n Especially against the sides towards the top of the table, intricate play will very rarely get you anywhere, and the game can often be decided by a moment of quality.<\/p>\n As for Stach, he has that quality, and Leeds need to ensure that they are utilising it to its full potential.<\/p>\n Enjoyed this article?
