This month marks the 20th anniversary<\/a> of the Real Housewives franchise, but it\u2019s not all Champagne toasts in Bravoland. Specifically, Sarah Michelle Gellar had some tough feedback on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and now Andy Cohen has some strong words for Gellar. Hopefully, this doesn\u2019t escalate to the drink-throwing stage.<\/p>\n

The saga began last week, when Gellar did an interview with \u201cPage Six Radio\u201d \u2014\u00a0which just so happens to record in Cohen\u2019s \u201cRadio Andy\u201d studio at SiriusXM. After confirming that Gellar was a die-hard Bravo stan, the \u201cPage Six\u201d hosts asked if she was living for this season of RHOBH. Her response? \u201cNo.\u201d She clarified. \u201cI think it\u2019s boring.\u201d She had kind words for Rachel Zoe<\/a> (\u201ca great addition\u201d) as well as Bozoma Saint John, Kathy Hilton, and Jennifer Tilly. \u201cBut it\u2019s slow. It\u2019s just picking up now.\u201d Gellar also shared her unfiltered thoughts on new cast member Amanda Frances: \u201cI don\u2019t think she\u2019s polarizing, I just don\u2019t think anyone enjoys her.\u201d These are not particularly controversial opinions about this season (especially among Bravo recappers and podcasters), but Cohen took umbrage.<\/p>\n

On his own show, Cohen offered some unfiltered thoughts <\/a>of his own. \u201c[The interview] was in our studio and then [\u2018Page Six\u2019 posted] it, and it\u2019s like, \u2018Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills\u2019 with all this \u2018Radio Andy\u2019 signage everywhere,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I go, \u2018You know what? Don\u2019t bring someone into my studio to trash my show. How about the door is locked when I leave? How\u2019s that?\u2019\u201d He concluded, \u201cShe\u2019s wrong, by the way.\u201d Well, there goes my hope of Gellar eventually joining RHOBH. Though I guess as a happily married woman, she probably wouldn\u2019t fit in<\/a> anyway.<\/p>\n
