{"id":36868,"date":"2025-09-22T18:32:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T18:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/36868\/"},"modified":"2025-09-22T18:32:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T18:32:06","slug":"david-tennant-reveals-embarrassing-injury-he","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/36868\/","title":{"rendered":"David Tennant reveals \u2018embarrassing\u2019 injury he\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/david-tennant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">David Tennant<\/a> has revealed he sustained an injury whilst filming a sex scene for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/rivals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Rivals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/this-morning-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">This Morning<\/a> on Monday (22 September), the actor announced that he is currently filming for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/news\/rivals-jilly-cooper-intimacy-coordinators-b2769402.html\" title=\"Rivals author says she\u2019d be \u2018embarrassed\u2019 to act in front of sex scene intimacy coordinators\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> second season of the Disney+ drama<\/a>, which Ben Shephard said features characters frequently being \u201cphysically amorous\u201d and \u201cgetting it on\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tennant laughed and went on to explain a mishap on set that occurred whilst filming a scene. He explained that whilst \u201claunching\u201d himself onto a wooden bed, his knee \u201ccollided with the bed frame in a rather unfortunate way\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can never quite tell when you\u2019re going to fall over and embarrass yourself, can you, but you most certainly don\u2019t want to do it whilst wearing a modesty pouch,\u201d he laughed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"David Tennant has revealed he sustained an injury whilst filming a sex scene for Rivals.
