Apple has hired Lilian Rincon, an ex-Google executive, as its vice president of product marketing for artificial intelligence, the tech giant recently announced.<\/p>\n
Rincon spent nearly a decade at Google overseeing its shopping and assistant products. She will report to Greg Joswiak, Apple’s marketing chief. Before joining Google, she held positions at Microsoft and Skype.<\/p>\n
The appointment comes as Apple prepares to release an improved version of its virtual assistant Siri later this year, rebuilt with technology from Google’s Gemini AI model.
