The second series of I’m A Celebrity All Stars is almost upon us, and the contestants have been pictured together in South Africa for the first time.<\/p>\n

The show will start on 6 April. The cast features several big names including soaps legend Beverley Callard, Olympian Mo Farah, a King and a Queen of the Jungle, Harry Redknapp<\/a> and Scarlett Moffatt and some stars that are hoping for redemption, such as , who quit her last stint on the show.<\/p>\n

The cast were all photographed together in their I’m A Celeb khakis and red tops, in front of the South African wilderness.<\/p>\n

Beverley Callard\"Soap<\/p>\n

The Coronation Street<\/a> actress, who finished tenth on the ITV<\/a> series six years ago, revealed last month that since recording the show in South Africa last year, she she had been diagnosed with breast cancer which was caught in the \u201cvery early stages\u201d. She has since had surgery which included the removal of lymph nodes.<\/p>\n

Looking back on the experience she had in Wales alongside the likes of Jordan North<\/a> and Vernon Kay, Bev said that it had changed her. “I do tend to suffer from low self-esteem,\u201d she explains. \u201cWithout sounding big-headed, because people kept telling me they loved me and how down to earth I was, it gave me confidence and it was lovely to be with such a wonderful group of people.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the show returns for the second series featuring past “legends”, she\u2019s very happy to be swapping the freezing Welsh castle for the warm, South African jungle – but is still terrified of the trials. \u201cYou sit there thinking \u2018please don\u2019t let it be me\u2019,\u201d she admits. \u201cI am most scared of the eating trials. If I get a penis or whatever, I don\u2019t know if I will be able to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 69-year-old may have spent 31 years on and off as Weatherfield barmaid Liz McDonald, but she doesn\u2019t think she stands any chance of clinching the legend title. \u201cI am not being phoney but I don\u2019t think I will win it.\u201d<\/p>\n

I am going to give it my all.\u201d Scarlett said she was looking forward to seeing fellow Geordies Ant<\/a> and Dec<\/a> again, having worked with them after her jungle triumph on Saturday Night Takeaway. \u201cWhen I first moved to London they invited me round a few times to have dinner. Reflecting on how the series affected him, he says: \u201cIt didn\u2019t change me as a person, but it changed my life in a very positive way. I was able to go back on tour and sell out rooms again. I am forever grateful. \u201cThe truth is outside of the jungle, I keep myself to a small group of friends and doing stand-up is extraordinary but lonely at times. I get nervous meeting new people and so it\u2019s nice to know I can do it.\u201d Now a dad of two Seann, 40, says this time around he\u2019ll miss his kids. \u201cIn camp, time really slows down,\u201d he says. \u201cIf my daughter says: \u2018I love you daddy\u2019, I start crying. Being apart from them is going to be difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe this time around it might get saucier.\u201d Laid back about the trials, which he claims were \u201cquite easy\u201d, Haye, 45, says he is most looking forward to the South African wildlife. \u201cI really enjoyed the connection with mother nature. Chuck a bunch of cockroaches or spiders over me, I am pretty sure I will be fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s keen for this return visit to have a lasting effect on her. \u201cI\u2019m hoping the South African jungle will cure me of my phobias, because it is quite debilitating being afraid of everything. I\u2019ve been like that since I was six and so it would be incredible to not only not be afraid anymore.\u201d And the 62-year-old added: \u201cI\u2019m also hoping that it will be a bit like an epiphany where I walk away with the feeling that I can do anything else I want to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mo Farah says he can speak more freely this time around because he’s retired from athletics since his last appearance<\/p>\n

Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah<\/a> came fifth on the Welsh series of 2020, and says that now he\u2019s retired from athletics, viewers might get to see a whole new side to him. \u201cThe last time I was in there was hard, because I was still competing and you worry about what you can and can\u2019t say,\u201d the 43-year-old explains.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time around, I am retired. I\u2019ve got nothing to prove and I can be more open. I can talk about things in more detail.\u201d But one thing hasn’t changed – and that is his fear of snakes. \u201cEven speaking about snakes makes me feel terrified,\u201d he confesses. \u201cThere were so many things I was scared of when I did those trials, but it was the snakes that I found scariest.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 45-year-old, who worked with Ant and Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway, is dating 25-year-old tattoo artist George Rollinson and says he\u2019s helping her to overcome her nerves. \u201cI have had some sleepless nights before arriving in South Africa. My boyfriend has been such a great cheerleader and supporter in the run-up because I have been so nervous. He keeps telling me I am going to smash it, which is lovely. I just want to try my best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam Thomas<\/p>\n

Ex Emmerdale<\/a> actor Adam Thomas<\/a> did a staggering 12 bushtucker trials during the 2016 series, in which he eventually finished third. Now he\u2019s back for more, and says that as a \u201cpeople person\u201d he\u2019s looking forward to making new pals. A decade on from his first go on the show, Adam, 37, says he has not conquered any of the fears that plagued him. “I just hope there aren\u2019t too many spiders! I\u2019m scared to death of them, as well as cockroaches.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said his highlight from before was coming back from a trial and telling the group that they would eat that night. \u201cPutting a smile on the campmates\u2019 faces when you come back from a trial with stars is special.\u201d He doesn\u2019t think he\u2019ll finish in first place. \u201cI\u2019m not going in thinking I could win it – I am not very competitive,\u201d he says. \u201cAs long as I try my best that is all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Latecomers\"Gemma<\/p>\n

Craig Charles<\/a> was last on the show in 2014 when he had to pull out because of a family tragedy back home. He said: \u201cI just want a bit of adventure. The last time it was cruelly cut short because my brother Dean passed away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jimmy Bullard<\/a> was last on the show in 2014 after retiring from football. He said: “The camp was as close as I\u2019ve been to a changing room since I left football. I loved it, but there were some dark times.\u201d<\/p>\n
