The pop star had 17 prior Juno nominations ahead of this year&#8217;s ceremony, and won six awards in 2024 and 2025 including trophies for artist and single of the year for Greedy.<\/p>\n<p>She added to her stat sheet this year with an additional six nominations \u2014 of which she&#8217;s already won four: artist, single (Sports Car), pop album and album (So Close to What) of the year. <\/p>\n<p>The only award she failed to win was songwriter of the year, which instead went to Daniel Caesar, whose real name is Ashton Simmonds. <\/p>\n<p>The only award she could potentially still take tonight is fan choice, one of only four categories left to be awarded Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>McRae did not attend the ceremonies Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday&#8217;s award categories are:<\/p>\n<p>Fan choice: Tate McRae, bbno$, Cameron Whitcomb, James Barker Band, Josh Ross, Justin Bieber, Karan Aujla, Shawn Mendes, Shubh, The Weeknd. <\/p>\n<p>Breakthrough artist or group of the year: Cameron Whitcomb, Goldie Boutilier, Jade LeMac, Jutes, MICO, Noeline Hofmann, Sacha, Saya Gray, Sofia Camara, yung kai.<\/p>\n<p>Group of the year: Arcade Fire, Mother Mother, Peach Pit, The Beaches, Three Days Grace<\/p>\n<p>Contemporary R&amp;B recording of the year: Sad Boi, Adria Kain, Avenoir, Daniel Caesar, Jessie Reyez, Majid Jordan<\/p>\n<p>Saturday also featured two wins for singer Aysanabee, who picked up both the alternative album and contemporary Indigenous artist or group of the year awards for Edge of the Earth. <\/p>\n<p>There was a tie for adult alternative album of the year: both Bahamas&#8217; My Second Last Album and Begonia&#8217;s\u00a0Fantasy Life were awarded. <\/p>\n<p>And with five nominations for Hurry Up Tomorrow, The Weeknd&#8217;s shut-out marks the first time in his career to see a studio album go unawarded at the Junos since his debut, Kiss Land. <\/p>\n<p>With 22 career wins, he is currently the second-most awarded artist at the Junos, trailing Anne Murray with 26.
