A man once accused of stalking\u00a0Billie Eilish<\/a>\u00a0has\u00a0reportedly been\u00a0killed by a train in Long Island, New York.<\/p>\n

Prenell Rousseau, 30, was hit by a Long Island Rail Road train in Westbury early on Wednesday morning (March 25) while jogging \u201con or near\u201d the tracks, according to reporting by the New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The death is being treated as\u00a0an apparent\u00a0accident with no\u00a0indication\u00a0of foul play.<\/p>\n

In May 2020,\u00a0Eilish obtained a temporary restraining order against Rousseau<\/a>, who was 24 at the time, after he visited the singer\u2019s Los Angeles residence on seven separate occasions.<\/p>\n

Reporting at the time\u00a0stated\u00a0that Rousseau first appeared uninvited at the singer\u2019s house, ringing the doorbell and asking if Eilish lived there. After Eilish\u2019s father told him no, Rousseau returned to the house later that evening and\u00a0exhibited\u00a0\u201cerratic\u00a0behaviour\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to court documents\u00a0acquired\u00a0by\u00a0TMZ, the singer said: \u201cWhile we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat\u00a0down\u00a0and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused.\u201d<\/p>\n

The judge\u2019s order stipulated that Rousseau must stay 200 yards (182\u00a0metres) away from both Eilish and her parents and cease all attempts at contact.<\/p>\n

It was reported that though Rosseau was taken into custody twice in a week, US law enforcement did not detain the trespasser as \u201cthey were trying to keep non-violent offenders out of jail due to the spread of COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish has gone on to have further harassment from stalkers \u2013 in 2021,\u00a0she obtained a five-year restraining order against John Hearle, 23,<\/a>\u00a0who had been camping outside her home and performed a throat-slitting gesture when he saw Eilish.<\/p>\n

Two years later,\u00a0she was granted another restraining order against Raymond Black, who stripped naked outside her house<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer\u00a0opened up\u00a0about the threat in 2021<\/a>, explaining:\u00a0\u201cI really\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0like to be alone. I do like having anonymity, or autonomy, but I really am flipped out when\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0alone. I hate it. I have a lot of stalkers.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I have people that want to do bad things to me, and I also am freaked out by the dark and, like, what\u2019s under beds and couches. I have a lot of weird, irrational fears. So I\u2019m still at my parents\u2019 house a lot. I just love my parents and really like it here.
