\n\tHADES, the new album from Melanie Martinez<\/a>, tops this week\u2019s fan-voted music poll.<\/p>\n

\n\tFans voted in a poll published Friday (March 27)\u00a0on\u00a0Billboard<\/a>, choosing the alt-pop artist\u2019s latest LP as their favorite new release of the week.<\/p>\n

\n\tHADES leads the pack in a week that also saw new music releases streaming in from Conan Gray, RAYE, Charlie Puth, Miley Cyrus and more. At the poll\u2019s closing time on Sunday, Martinez finished with 67% of the vote.<\/p>\n

\n\tHADES was previewed by singles including \u201cPossession\u201d and \u201cDisney Princess\u201d ahead of its March 27 release.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn London, Martinez recently held a staged \u201cListening Chamber\u201d event (directed by NIYADRE and produced by Bad Bones Films\u2019 Laurence Warder and Daragh McCann) for the album; watch it in full in the video above.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI started this album thinking I was writing a futuristic dystopia,\u201d Martinez said in a statement about HADES, her fourth full-length studio album, upon its release<\/a> via Warner Music this week. \u201cBut I realized I was just documenting the world we\u2019re already living in.\u00a0HADES\u00a0is a cracked mirror. Beneath the rage, it\u2019s a refusal to go numb \u2013 a call to feel, to see clearly, and to ask if we can still create something beautiful from the chaos we\u2019ve been given.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 18-track collection is the follow-up to 2023\u2019s\u00a0Portals, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the new releases trailing behind HADES are Conan Gray\u2019s \u201cThe Best,\u201d with 20% of the vote, and RAYE\u2019s This Music May Contain Hope, with 7% of the vote. Charlie Puth and Miley Cyrus rounded out the results, placing in fourth and fifth.<\/p>\n
